Welcome To Our Website
Who we are:
Queensboro MC holds the honor of being the oldest club of it's kind in New York City, dating back to 1910. Queensboro has always been located on or near Northern Blvd. One of the clubhouses was on the site of the first worlds fair in the 1930's. The fair committee asked us to move, telling us that we would be reimbursed. We never did get reimbursed, there wasn't enough money left to give away. Before we moved our meetings to the Hofbrau (a good old fashioned beer garden) they were held in the homes of different members each week. In 1940 we acquired our present site at a public auction. Club members were sold stock in the club. When there was enough money in the treasury the stock was bought back. This is how we became incorporated. Queensboro remains very active in the local tri-state motorcycle community. Annual events include our famous St. Pattys Day Bash, anniversary party, Queensboro Rodeo (one of the most attended biking events of the year), Halloween and Christmas parties. Club meetings are well attended every thursday and we continue to actively recruit new members. In 2004, Queensboro played a big part in the birth of L.I.M.A. (Long Island Motorcycle Association).
